The Art of Terraced Landscapes Journal seeks contributions that explore the diverse artistic, visual, and creative dimensions of terraced landscapes. Expanding beyond traditional definitions of artistic expression, the journal welcomes work across a variety of media and disciplines, including visual arts, landscape and architectural design, photography (both documentary and artistic), video, performance, creative writing, and transdisciplinary artistic research. Particular interest is given to contributions that reflect on the symbolic, aesthetic, cultural, and emotional values of terraced landscapes, as well as their transformation, memory, and future potential. The journal invites critical and imaginative perspectives that interpret terraced landscapes not only as physical forms but also as spaces of identity, resilience, and creative engagement. Submissions may take the form of visual portfolios, essays, artist statements, or hybrid formats combining images and text, and are open to artists, designers, photographers, researchers, and community-based practitioners alike.
